Spirituality, trauma and healing journey

I saw a post that described how one’s life has become after becoming spiritually aware constant journey of shadow work and unraveling and healing patterns and (!) that everytime they start something new or start something important they become drenched in full on shadow work and healing that takes all their focus and priority. And they let it. And that this has been going for yeaaaars and they haven’t been able to do anything else, but constant self-development and healing.

Let’s talk about this – as I believe/see that after a certain period of healing work in your “spiritual journey” you don’t have to keep healing and can simply transform . And there’s a way to heal effectively which I’ve talked about before.

Energetically, as a psychic and an energy worker/architect, there are mainly three reasons why I see this happening to which I’ve based my opinion:

  1. It has become an identity on our journey. We’ve created a spiritual story we tell ourselves how we ought to do our spirituality. So we continue it even though it is not necessary anymore. We see the spiritual journey as the “uncovering” and thus keep constantly looping back to healing ourselves and seeing only patterns that “are needed to be healed” and giving in my opinion too much of focus and priority to the “unhealed” aspects and versions of us. As this is what we expect. Instead of doing effective, targeted healing and then switching and moving forward without those past patterns affecting us and going to future challenges and opportunities with guicker transformation. This ties into to the second part:
  2. The nervous system hasn’t been addressed. One has actual trauma and healing to do, or it has been done in one way, but the body and the nervous system hasn’t been addressed and it highjacks through fear all the steps forward. That is the pull-effect (can’t focus, all the concentration and focus goes to unhealed parts) one feels if trying to step forward and there is a nervous system issue.
  3. There isn’t enough else going on. Haha, brutal and plain, but accurate. One’s energy field is simply swamped and consumed as there isn’t anything else. No other passions, no other activities, no other priorities, no other things to focus on.

Go get some hobbies and larger priorities that put things into perspective ;), Yours truly
